The City of Topeka Utilities Department is holding a public meeting for citizens to learn about and give input on an upcoming stormwater improvement project designed to reduce flooding along Huntoon Street. 
The project includes construction of a stormwater detention pond in the park along Lakeside Drive. 

Construction is tentatively scheduled to begin in October 2026.
